Good Shepherd Sunday

I love this picture...
a pure example of Jesus rescuing His sheep in the thorns of life.

During my prayer time today, I was reminded of some of the times I have cried out to Jesus like the little lamb above...and just how fast I was rescued. Sweet Jesus, help me to remember how fast You come to rescue us. Help me remember no trap or snare set by Satan can survive, with You guarding us...You are The Good Shepherd who never abandons us...Amen

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.In verdant pastures he gives me repose;beside restful waters he leads me;he refreshes my soul.He guides me in right paths for his name’s sake.Even though I walk in the dark valley I fear no evil; for you are at my side.With your rod and your staff that give me courage.You spread the table before me in the sight of my foes;you anoint my head with oil;my cup overflows. For those devoted to His Sacred Heart

1. I will give them all the graces necessary for their state of life.
2. I will establish peace in their families.

5. I will pour abundant blessings on all their undertakings.

8. Fervent souls shall speedily rise to great perfection.
9. I will bless the homes where an image of My Heart shall be exposed and honored.
10.I will give to priests the power of touching the most hardened hearts.
11.Those who propagate this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be effaced.
12.The all-powerful love of My Heart will grant to all those who shall receive Holy Communion on the First Friday of nine consecutive months the grace of final repentance; they shall not die under my displeasure, nor without receiving their Sacraments; My heart shall be their assured refuge at that last hour.
