Alleluia Alleluia...He Has Risen...Alleluia Alleluia

" I will always seek the company of all those who are lovers of Jesus"
Padre Pio (Book II Victim to Console the Heart of Jesus)
Today my 3 1/2 year old Grandson said to me
"La La I got a bottle of holy water from church and I put in on my face and my hair, and my hands". I said to him...do you feel better now? He said...AH HUH.
Jesus...thank you for being in the hearts of my children and my grandchildren and for them loving you as much as they do...it is a gift I cherish with all my heart...Amen

What a blessing to have such a smart little grandson. I can just picture you giving him a big smile after hearing that. Probably a big hug also to rub some of that holy water on yourself. :-)

I LOVE your Lent pages at prayerflowers.com. The quotes you chose were terrific. Very very nice and inspiring page. By 'penance' I don't think the Blessed Mother meant conversion. I think he meant penance. Sacrifice. We are not too keen on denying ourselves and yet this and works of mercy and prayer are what atone for sins. Very nice!

Thank you A Mother for your sweet comment. I reread the quote you mentioned and I remember finding that on the back of one of the cards I had. I may have to make a space or two between those lines because I think the way they meant it or the way I understood it was that penance can lead to a deeper conversion...but after your comment I can see where it could be understood they way you took it as well. I will try to find the original translation. Thank you again.
